San Francisco...Golden Gate Bridge...

As it was the first visit here, I definitely wanted to see the most famous bridge in San Francisco.
But we had only 3 hours left at that time.

"What shall we do???"
When we left the restaurant, could fortunately find a ferry which traveled around Golden Gate Bridge for an hour.  How lucky we were!! So we decided to take it!

SFは初めてだったので、どうしてもかの有名なゴールデン・ゲート・ブリッジ(G.G.B.)をこの目で見たかった。
しかし残された時間は3時間。
どうする。。。

レストランを出たデッキになんと「G.G.B.観光フェリー乗り場」があるではないかっ！
超らっき〜♪
ってコトで、早速乗ってみることに(^_^)v

Wooow! The bridge in the distance was the famous Golden Gate Bridge!!!

きゃ〜〜~♪
遠くに見えるあの橋こそG.G.B.!!!

After passing  through the G.G.B., we came close to  Alcatraz island which is famous for its movie called "Escape From Alcatraz"
It had been used as a federal prison until 1963.

Alcatraz, which is often called "The Rock," has become popular as a sightseeing spot since then.

I was so excited to get a close look at this island!

 

G.G.B.をくぐったあとフェリーはサンフランシスコ湾に浮かぶこの島に接近。 

ここが映画などでも有名な「アルカトラズ島」

1963年まで連邦刑務所として使用され、今は観光地となっており、ザ・ロック、監獄島とも呼ばれている。

 

こんなに間近で見ることができるなんて感激(≧▽≦)

 

 

 

 

 

 

We  enjoyed the scenery listening to the explanation from headphones handed over when boading.

It said that prisoners who could escape from this island was only three.

 

Looking at the distance of SF Bay to this island, it seemed that you could easily swim across. But they say that the stream is too powerful to swim.

 

 

このフェリーでは1人ずつヘッドフォンが渡され、説明を聞きながら景色を楽しむことができる。

ここから逃げ出した人はたった3人かぁ…

泳いでも渡れそうな距離に見えるけど、水流が激しくて困難とのこと。

 

 

 

ほろ酔い気分乗り込んだ私たち。。。
気持ち良い風に吹かれながら〜♪
のはずだった。。。



We were little bit drunk, and were supposed to have a comfortable time with breezy air ...

Someone suddenly yelled, "Here comes a BIG WAVE!!!"
With a sounding plunge....
Aaaaaaah!!!!


ざぶ〜ん！！
って音がしたと思ったら…
