Today I decided to show you our small balcony.
As a matter of fact, I was hesitated to post our garden, because it's very narrow...
It is diffiult to get a house with a big yard around Tokyo in Japan.
Of course, if you are rich, you can easily get it but unfortunately we're not, hahaha...
The other day, David encouraged me.
Thank you David!
Thank you David!
In March, I started making some brick wall in our balcony.
Firstly, I piled up some bricks....
and stuck light brown colored mortar on one of the bricks...
wrote some words with an awl.
And piled it up like this...
Secondery, I planted lavender inside the brick wall.
And placed a fake faucet and basin of water floating some rosemary leaves.
I put the rose pot behind the wall to hide the container.
In front of the basin, I planted erigeron in two netted rectangular pots,
in a bet that they would spill out of the pots.
Using some little hooks I prepared in the back,
I trained the crimbing rose.
This rose is "Super Excelsa", my mother planted in my childhood
How about this?
All of the plants look like not planted in pots but planted on the ground, don't they?
I've been wanting the scene which suits this memorable rose in our balcony...
It reminds me of mom's smile:)
