I'm so excited to share with you the following Jungle pictures! I traveled to Amazon :)
There was a small fall here, and I found a lovely red flowers dangling by the river.
This is called "Hibiscus Schizopetalus" or "Japanese Lantern", it is not native to Japan, though. I think its flowers droop from the branching in a manner reminiscent of Japanese lanterns. That may be the reason why it's called "Japanese Lantern." Oh, it's about time you notice that this place is not Amazon, hahaha... I'm lying! sorry... Went to a tropical garden plantation.
The scenery of plants and the river attracted me:)
There were a lot kind of interesting flowers with vivid colors I've never seen before...
Unfortunately, I was too excited to check each plant's name... but looking at the shape of the flower, the above might be a type of shrimp plants. I've known it with red flowers but never seen such a bibid yellow type. And I found a gorgeous red flowers bellow, the flower was about 20 cm in diameter and has fleshy petals.
Of course, folliages attracted me, too...
In addition, found familiar fruits here.
Pineapples:)
What struck me by surprise, is the following shot. Do you notice some fuit is growing?
YES! It's a banana tree. And you can see something creepy-shaped dangling from a bunch of bananas. Do you recognize what it is? It's a flower!!! To be precise, it's still a bud. They say that it attracts not a BEE but a BAT to deliver its pollens! Oh my gooood, scarely!!!
Actually, it can't be eaten fresh, so is not a regular one we usually get in a supermarket.
Oh, I haven't told you the reason why I visited here. I'd been wanting to see a certain plant, which was not here, indoor plants area. Actually, I was amazed to see it planted outside, because I didn't know that it could survive winter in Japan. I'll show it to you in the next post!
Thank you for stopping by ;-)
