The Natural Gardens of Sakano

I'm happy to intoroduce you a wonderful garden!

"The Natural Gardens of Sakano" is located about 1-hour car-ride from Tokyo.

This garden is  famous for roses.Besids them, we can enjoy verious plants and flowers. At this time of year, we can enjoy a lot kind of hydrangeas:)

I've never known that there is a hydrangea with scent! The blue one bellow has a scent when its buds in the center open!!

What attracts me is that the garden stretches under the tall trees. Generally, not only roses but other plants need enough sunlight to grow. But this garden exists actually in the forest. Which means that it must be hard to keep the garden beautiful. However, it's actually realized by enthusiasm of the staff.

 

You can enjoy the foliages and flowers hiking in the woods:)

I often visit here a few times a year, but unfortunately, I've never visited in rose season...

After we enjoyed hydrangeas, visited Flamingo Restaurant on the way home! I have never seen flamingos up close before. They were amazing, too;-)
