Laura's House

I visited a lovely cafe, "Laura's House," last month.

I think that the owner built here based on Little House on the Prairie. Have you ever read it? or watched it? The famous story had also been broadcasted on TV many times here in Japan.

I was a big fan of it:)

The scenery here reminded me of my good old days...

Laura, the heroine of the story, seemed to pop out of the entrance of the house!

Oh, she seemed to leave her shoes on the step here, and the vines were covering the step sides beautifully...

Okay, let's go into the room!

There were many furniture which were shabby and chic! Loooove those kind of taste!

Laura might be reading a book by such a windowsill...

And I thought I heard something here like,  "Laura, dinner is ready! Please lay out the plates!"

I had a feeling Laura would be at this home, and laughing with her family...

I heard that there is Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum in Wisconsin, the U.S. I would like to visit it someday...

  1. My favorite books from so long ago! I loved reading the stories of the Ingalls family and their journey. Now I have a small prairie in my own yard. The Great Plains are so vast, I do hope you get to visit Wisconsin someday.

You visited a pretty restaurant and the details are well done, I'm glad you found a place that is just your style.

And with your pictures, and from some minutes, I traveled back in time and realized I never stopped longing for the same things.
Thank you so much for sharing this precious place and the artistic and sensitive soul behind.
