Succulents in a Shell

Hello everyone,

At this time of year, I have to take care of my roses...
pruning... replacing the soil in many pots...
Of couse, I know that...I have to...
But I'm reluctant to do yardwork outside due to this cold weather.

So, the lazy gardener decided to spend time planting succulents indoors:)

The pot I used was a shell-shaped one.

I love those white thin leaves with dots. They're like butterflies, don't they?

It's always fun to choose succulents thinking about colors and textures:)

But it took only 30 minutes to plant them.

So...

It's about time I go out in the garden and prune roses...

Hmm...

The wind is picking up...

Hmmm

I decided not to...

I'll definitely do it tomorrow...:)

I think I said the same phrase yesterday, too...hahaha...

  1. Hahaha, it's easy to put off work outside when it is cold and windy.

You used your time well. Those succulents look beautiful. I have not seen the white one before.

  2. Hi Keity,

I am glad that you have some time to play with plants!

Where did you get such cool succulent. Never seen the one that has dots on the leaves.

I have also at last started taking care of my roses...

Your roses are calling you Keity www

I posted a picture I took at last May at your veranda. The color balance of your roses were awesome.

Hope to see this year too.

    1. Hi Hide,
As a matter of fact, I don't have spare time to play with plants these days... I've been awfully busy recently with my job, so these succulents were planted in New Year holidays^^; At the same time, I also made a wreath with cotton ball you gave me(^_^)v I'll post it sometime soon.
I saw your photo of my garden in your previous post. It reminds of the day we met! Hope to see you this spring, too(^O^)/

I am soon to prune my roses too, but right now we are having a cold period so I will need to wait, probably till first week of February.

  7. What a beautiful succulent arrangement! I'm planning to set up a hardy succulent garden outside this summer, but your indoor arrangement is inspiring. Maybe I'll do that, too. Lovely!

  9. Those succulents are so beautiful!

Today I bought several bulbs flowers, and put them into mugs and on kitchen window.

Outside it's minus sixteen degrees and snow! It's true winter ;-)
