I had been waiting for May, the rose season in Japan.
Time flies! We're getting into June, the rainy season here...
Before the rainy season, I would like to post my balcony garden as a memorandum.
Actually, our condominium building will have the large-scale repair next January, including exterior wall repair and roof repair...
That means we should remove not only all of these plants, but exterior objects, like wood fence or faked brick flowerbed...
This building will be under repair from January to May next year.
A carpenter bee comes every year when this R.mulliganii blooms.
Thanks to him, we can enjoy the rose hips every autumn:)
But we cannot see him next year because of the repair, I guess...
I'm dreaming of new balcony garden next year...

Oh, dear Keity! What will you do with your awesome balcony garden? Your plants - roses, clematis, hosta, R.mulliganii and others are such beautiful. Maybe you will be able to transport them into the friend's garden? The fence, vases, bricks are pretty too and I'm sorry you have to remove them as well.
ReplyDeleteBut hopefully your renovated balcony will ve large and more comfortable for your new garden, who knows?
Great photos!
Your plants are beautiful!!!! I love them!

Hello from Finland!
ReplyDeleteYours must be one of the most beautiful balcony gardens I've ever seen. It's a pity you need to remove everything. It will be interesting to see your new garden. :)
Happily following your blog now!
Looks beautiful !
ReplyDeleteDear Keity,
ReplyDeleteI am glad that I found your blog. Your balcony looks beautiful! What a pity that you have to remove everything.
My husband is working in Japan right now and I was always wondering if I could find some Japanese garden bloggers to get an impression about the country and it's vegetation.
Oh, by the way, me and my garden are located in Germany.
You are welcome to visit it.
See you soon
Sigrid
