Hello, everyone!
As a matter of fact, I've been wondering what kind of story I would post...
David suggested me a good idea as bellow:)
Since you are one of the very rare garden blogs in Tokyo, it would be fun to see some of the green landscapes or Tokyo parks with plants. No one else does this on their blogs since no one else has a garden blog in Tokyo. Do you have a favorite flower garden, bamboo garden, or place with plants? I know most of Tokyo is filled with tall buildings, but maybe there are some green places. We would love to see them.
Thank you, David!!
So, I'd like to show you my favorite Japanese garden near Tokyo.
From Jun to July, we can enjoy hydrangeas around Tokyo,
especially Kamakura is very famous for them.
Kamakura is about an hour drive from Tokyo.
It is known as a historic town in Japan and has a lot of famous temples.
Today, I wanna show you my favorite temple, Hokoku-ji, among them.
Look at this gateway which is covered with beautiful moss....
And the reason why I love here is that it has those overwhelming bamboo garden:)
If you have a chance to come to Japan, please visit here!!!

Impressive!
ReplyDeleteReally nice place!:)
Lovely gardens. Thank you for visiting my blog today.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice surprise to find you are in Tokyo. I have been looking for a blog from your country.
We enjoyed a visit to Japan many years ago. There are nice large parks in Tokyo.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!! You have a lovely start here. You are absolutely correct....the Bamboo Forest is incredible. I'd love to visit this place. I've read so much about it and I'd love to see this place in person. It's quite magical. I look forward to what you create down the road. There are so many ideas that will come to my mind. Think themes around nature. I look forward to your fun with photography and reading your adventures:) There is also a person known as Stardust. She is in Japan and speaks of the history and gardens. You both live in a truly amazing part of the world.
ReplyDeleteHi Keity,
ReplyDeleteWell I have to say that was a wonderful first tour! The third photo is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen on a garden blog! Bamboo is one of my favorite plants, so the bamboo photos are also my favorite! :0)
Thanks for this marvelous garden tour. I think you should do more. I will tell you a secret...on my garden blog I do something close up like small flowers or leaves, then my next post is something big...like a whole garden I have visited. Imagine if you try this. You will have so much fun since your photography is beautiful. Thanks for the tour. You could have taken 20 photos and it still not be enough for such a lovely place. Really!
Your friend,

P.S. Shirley and Rohrbot are two of my blog friends. Cat is also one of my garden friends and she said she loved your blog! :0) Have a nice weekend.
